Knowledge is love and light and vision. ~Hellen Keller Abiding by the supreme duty of a human being to help the denizens of darkness emerge out to the bright shimmering sun, Literacy Mission has the vision to adorn the lives of kids who cannot afford the basic amenities of life and reside in the nearby slums with a garland of free education so that their childhood would remain as precious as that of other children.

To support the noble cause, Team SPEC in synergy with Team Literacy mission, NIT Hamirpur is bringing forth Gyanmanthan this Republic Day. Gyanmanthan is a Sanskrit word where Gyan stands for knowledge and Manthan means to churn. Giving the sprouting minds of India, an opportunity to test their mettle and get exposure to the technical world by earning new skills with Team SPEC, this event is meant to broaden the horizons of a new culture of innovation with a project exhibition by the young talented students of literacy mission.
