‘Twas The Hack Before Finals… ~~ Major Hacking League’s Local Hack Day is coming to McGill University on Saturday, Dec. 1! Join our local tech community & 200+ other communities across 40+ countries around the world for a global 12-hour hackathon celebrating learning, building, & sharing.

👾How do I participate? Register at: https://localhackday.mlh.io/lhd-2018/events/146-mcgill-university No prior coding/hackathon experience is necessary! This is a space for veterans and beginners alike. Open to all undergraduate university students in Montreal. More information is available on this website.

👾What will I be creating? You will be creating a project based on a given theme…which will be a surprise - revealed at the event! All IDEs and languages welcome.

👾What should I bring? Your laptop, chargers, adapters, sweater, reusable water bottle, lunch, whatever you’ll need for a full day out. Food will be provided.

👾Will there be workshops? Yes! We’ll have a variety of super cool workshops + a fun activity, stay tuned in the discussion for details.

👾Is there a cost? Nope, participation is absolutely free, and good will be provided! We just won’t cover any transportation fees.

👾Where is it? McLennan Library, probably 5th floor room M5-37A. This will be confirmed closer to the date, so stay tuned!

👾When should I arrive? Please arrive at 9AM for check-in and the opening ceremony. Hacking is scheduled to start at 9:30AM.

♿️Accessibility: The building has elevators. Entrance to the building can be accessed via stairs or across the terrace next to Lower Field.
