About Cliff

Hi everyone. My name is Clifford Ouma. I am a sophomore student at Moi University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics engineering. Apart from school work, I am a front-end web developer. I mainly use React Native library to create cross-platform mobile web applications. I am also a User Experience designer in training. Lastly, I also enjoy playing around with electronic components and learning about embedded systems.

I have a quiet superpower. I am an introvert and this is my greatest strength. Through this, I am able to show empathy and understanding. It has also made me a wonderful listener and good at creating strong and meaningful connections with others.

I champion for community building. I do this because I am a product of communities and I have seen the growth and opportunities it gives. So I enjoy taking part in community building to foster connection, learning, and growth. Not only growth in terms of skills but also growth in network and experience. I currently serve as the Google Developer Students Club Lead for Moi University. We host a number of workshops and events to build technical and non-technical skills among members.
