FrostHack 2021 - First National Level Hackathon at IIT Mandi

My main motive to become a campus expert at GitHub was to conduct events that the community at IIT Mandi had never seen before. Looking at the success FrostHack had, I can say that at least this goal of mine was fully accomplished. Given the pandemic situation, when everyone was at their homes with no hope of coming back to campus, conducting such a large hackathon that too, in online mode was a humongous task. But, given the efforts of the complete organizing team mentors and and our amazing participants it was a huge success. This year we had over 1500+ registrations from 300+ different colleges and finally over 250+ Project Submissions. In our Discord server alone, now we have a community of over 1200 people.

The Winners of Frosthack 2021 were :- First Position - Project GoFit by Team Betterworld ( Team Members - Ishan Goswami, Ishan Sharma) Second Position - Project CoviCoin by Team cotnw ( Team Members - Laxya Pahuja, Samvrant, Anshul Saha) Third Position - Project Ponder by Team NaamMeinKyaRakhaHain (Team Members - Yash Verma, Nippun Sharma, Naveen) Outstanding Covid Hack - Project DigiQ by Team Doofenshmirtz Evil Inc. ( Team Members - Sriesh Agarwal, Kvs Sankar, Param Sharma) Outstanding Female Team - Project UVC Vehicle Sanitizer by Team Aiders (Team Members - Yati Rastogi, Khushi Singh)

Kudos to all the participants as it was a very difficult decision for the judges to make since all the submissions were very unique and they were very well implemented as well. Last but not the least, I hope that all the teams convert their ideas into something much bigger and turn their dreams into realities!
